Record year for Nocturne Live concert series

Nocturne Live has reported record attendances for 2018, attracting more than 32,000 music fans over four nights to the historic Blenheim Palace.

This year’s concert series, held earlier this month in the Great Court within the walls of the Palace, featured performances from Gary Barlow, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Elvis Costello, Rumer, Nick Lowe, The Waterboys, Soul II Soul and The Coral.

Nocturne Live director Ciro Romano said: ““We are delighted with how Nocturne Live has grown and evolved since we launched in the summer of 2015. The Great Court at Blenheim Palace is a truly spectacular setting for a concert and we’re very proud of the incredible range of acts we’ve presented here over the last four years.”

Founded by Neapolitan Music and U-Live, Nocturne is held at the UNESCO world heritage site and birthplace of Winston Churchill, and turns the 9,500-capacity Great Court into an open-air concert venue.

Nocturne Live will return in June 2019.
