War Child to be official charity partner for the 2017 Music Week Awards, in association with Amazon Music

Music Week is happy to announce War Child as the official charity partner for the 2017 Music Week Awards, in association with Amazon Music.

“With its rich heritage in the music industry and our long-standing relationship with Music Week, War Child is delighted to be the official charity partner for the most respected industry awards,” said Liana Mellotte head of music, entertainment and development, War Child UK. “We are really grateful for the whole team at Music Week for this brilliant honour.”

The Music Week Awards take place on April 5 at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, with the after party at Drama Park Lane. The prestigious event, hosted by presenter, DJ, broadcaster and writer Lauren Laverne, is the UK's only music awards that recognise labels, publishing, live, retail, A&R, radio, marketing and PR.

A number of brand new categories were introduced this year, resulting in a record number of nominations.
