X-ray Touring unveils joint venture with Paradigm Talent Agency and Yucaipa

UK-based X-ray Touring, international booking agency for acts such as Coldplay, Eminem, Green Day and Robbie Williams, has announced a newly formed joint venture partnership with US-based Paradigm Talent Agency and investment firm Yucaipa.

The deal "creates synergies with pre-existing live music partners and provides X-ray artists access to new opportunities in branding, endorsements, digital content development and distribution, and other media".

A statement from X-ray directors Steve Strange, Ian Huffam, Martin Horne, Scott Thomas and Jeff Craft said: "We're delighted to find in Paradigm partners that share our ethos of complete commitment to the artist, providing them with every possible advantage in all aspects of their career. We look forward with great enthusiasm to collaborating with Paradigm and Yucaipa on this next stage of X-ray's global development."

Other acts on X-ray's books include Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics, Pixies, Snow Patrol, Eagles Of Death Metal and Queens Of The Stone Age. Paradigm represents Coldplay and Stereophonics, among others, in North America.

"X-ray has a fantastic worldwide roster," said Sam Gores, chairman and CEO of Paradigm Talent Agency. "We've wanted this partnership for quite some time and are thrilled to grow our company while working in partnership with Steve Strange, Ian Huffam, Scott Thomas, Martin Horne and Jeff Craft to offer more creative and business opportunities to X-ray's artists."

Paradigm has an existing partnership with London-based Coda Agency, which in turn has recently formed an affiliation with UK full-service talent agency Independent Talent Group (ITG), a Yucaipa partner.

"We are thrilled to be in business with Paradigm in the UK," added Yucaipa's Ron Burkle. "The synergies with X-ray, ITG and Cofa creates Europe's most comprehensive agency offering as well as a fund to invest in live entertainment assets in the UK and Europe."
