Brandon Reid of Straight And Narrow management has told Music Week he expects the “anthemic” material from The National’s new album to open them up to a much broader audience on radio.

Sleep Well Beast, the group’s seventh studio album album, is released on September 8 via 4AD. Their last record, 2013’s Trouble Will

Find Me, has sold 99,083 copies to date, according to Official Charts Company data. Their best-selling release is 2010’s High Violet which has shifted 126,157.
