Amazon Music unveiled as headline sponsor for 2017 Music Week Awards

Music Week is delighted to announce Amazon Music as the headline sponsor of the 2017 Music Week Awards.

The most important awards bash on the music industry calendar, this year’s Music Week Awards in association with Amazon Music takes place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Wednesday, April 5.

“We’re thrilled to be sponsoring the Music Week Awards for 2017,” said Paul Firth, head of Amazon Digital Music UK. “The Amazon Music team has been working hand-in-hand with labels and artists for 18 years to help our customers discover, buy, download and now stream great music through Prime Music and Amazon Music Unlimited in the UK, so we’re proud to be involved in an awards ceremony that recognises excellence within the UK music industry.”

This year saw a record number of entries for what will be a fiercely contested evening, as the industry comes together to celebrate the very finest achievements, companies and individuals from across the music biz.

In addition to classic Music Week Awards categories, this year we have also introduced some brand new ones to ensure we’re covering all corners of the biz.
