Music Week is very pleased to announce that entries are now open for the all-new Music Awards 2019 category Accountancy Firm Of The Year.
The award is open to any accountancy firm with clients in the B2B music industry, with staff based in the UK. You can find out all of the relevant criteria and apply here.
Last year, Music Week spoke to some of the accountancy world's leading lights for a feature exploring the sector's crucial role in the music business, and that is precisely what this new award celebrates. Subscribers can read the full Accountancy feature here.
Speaking about the addition, Music Week editor Mark Sutherland said: “Accountancy is one of the most important and growing areas of the music business. These are the firms that literally keep the biz in the black so it’s only right and proper that they should take their place in the Music Week Awards line-up. Plus, we know they’ll have the funds to get their round in…”
As previously revealed, The Accountancy Firm Of The Year Award opens and closes for entries on a different timeline to our other categories, taking into account that December and January are the busiest times of the year for accountancy firms.
The deadline for entries for Accountancy Firm of the Year will be midnight on March 6.
PLEASE NOTE: the deadline for all other categories is midnight on Wednesday January 16.
Remember if you don’t enter, you miss out on your opportunity to show off your hard work on a night that rewards the stellar achievements of the UK music biz. The event takes place on Thursday, May 9 at our new venue Battersea Evolution, which offers an increased capacity and a more versatile room.
