Absolute Radio unveils birthday celebrations

Absolute Radio is marking its fifth birthday with a month of events featuring acts including Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon and Primal Scream.

The celebrations will begin on Thursday (September 5) when The 1975, whose self-titled Dirty Hit/Polydor album looks set to debut at No 1 in the UK on Sunday, will perform at the station's One Golden Square studios in London in front of an intimate audience of listeners and guests.
