Artists buying fake online Likes, views and followers - report
Artists are reportedly buying thousands of fake YouTube views, Twitter followers and Facebook Likes to increase their popularity.
US based data monitoring company Next Big Sound says it has a list of artists who they believe are buying statistics, according to the BBC.
The company say that 10,000 YouTube views can be bought for as little as £30 and there is also a market for buying comments. The information is to be released later this year in a report.
