BBC working on hybrid radio

The BBC is working on a hybrid radio project with international partners to allow smartphone users to better enjoy listening to the radio.

Radio Today reports that new research, commissioned by the BBC, shows that the majority of smartphones users want radio capabilities through their devices, but are concerned with mobile data costs, battery use and reception issues when streaming.
