BM Soho store closes

London record store BM Soho has been forced to close, reportedly over a contractual dispute.

The store opened in 1988 as Black Market, specialising in house, techno, drum and bass and dubstep vinyl. The Soho shop shut down last week, with no warning to customers.

The business is still running online and selling equipment in Edgware, north London, and attributes the closure of their store to the continuing gentrification of the area.
