Dickon Stainer appointed President and CEO of Global Classics


Decca Records Group president Dickon Stainer has been appointed president and CEO of Global Classics at Universal Music Group.

Stainer will continue in his role as president of Decca as well as being responsible for classical music throughout Universal Music.

In his new role at Global Classics, the exec will oversee the strategic and creative direction of the company’s labels including Deutsche Grammophon, Decca and Mercury Classics as well as international classical music portal Sinfini Music.
