First BitTorrent app approved for Apple's App Store

Murray Stassen

A native, self-censoring BitTorrent client has been approved for sale on Apple's App Store.

Blue Downloader is described by its developer "as a simple and clutter-free internet browser, as well as a fast file downloader."

It only allows downloads from a selection of trusted sites, such as Archive.org, Linuxtracker and Bitlove.

Downloading from KickAssTorrents or The Pirate Bay will not work.
