IFPI appoints Norman Halim to main Board

IFPI has appointed Norman Abdul Halim to its main Board and Asia regional executive Board.

A significant figure in the Malaysian music industry, Halim (pictured) is executive present of independent label KRU Music, as well as chairman of the Recording Industry of Malaysia.

He was part of Malaysian pop group KRU, alongside his two brothers, before founding the KRU Group in 1992.
