Music Week can exclusively reveal that Jason Carter has been appointed to the newly created role of Head of Popular Music, Live Events across several BBC Radio stations.
In his new role, Carter will be responsible for delivering all of the BBC’s live music events and concert coverage across BBC Radio 1, Radio 1Xtra, Radio 2 and 6 Music.
