Live Nation has announced a homecoming Kasabian headline show at Leicester's Victoria Park in June, after winning full approval for the event from Leicester Council.

A hearing for the licence took place overseen by the city's council yesterday (November 25) morning. Live Nation faced objections from a handful of local residents.

But now the company has been granted a licence for the gig, with Kasabian set to be preceeded by a run of support acts.
