Merlin has slashed the administration fees it charges independent labels by 25 - 50% in a series of changes that take effect from July 1.
The global rights agency will now charge 3% for administration fees on Spotify deals - down from 4% - and on all other commercial deals they've reduced charges from 6% to 3%.
