Bob Hine, a founder of The British Record Producer’s Guild, the original Music Producers Guild, has died.
Hine is recognised as having brought the first members of the organisation together as well as having played an important role in the supply of recording tape to British studios through his association with chemical company BASF.
The British Record Producer’s Guild helped its members achieve greater creative recognition for their work.
