Music community mourns the passing of Merle Haggard
The US music community has paid tribute to country music legend Merle Haggard who died on April 6, on the day of his 79th birthday.
He died in Palo Cedro, California, following complications linked to pneumonia, according to his manager Frank Mull. Haggard had cancelled a series of concerts at the end of 2015 due to illness and had been in and out of hospitals ever since.
