Official Charts Analysis: Dr. Dre tops UK Albums Chart with non-physical release


Dr Dre makes chart history with his third - and, he says, final - solo album Compton becoming the first number one album in chart history NOT to be available physically. Released only digitally via iTunes, it nevertheless racked up a first week sales of 45,721 copies (including 2,079 from streams) to debut atop the chart.
