Queen's Greatest Hits is first LP to surpass 6m sales in the UK
Queen’s Greatest Hits is the first album to surpass the 6 million sales mark in the UK.
According to The Official Charts Company, the 1981 album still regularly sells several thousand copies every week.
The LP is followed by ABBA’s Gold – Greatest Hits (5.1m), the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (5.1m), Adele’s 21 (4.7m) and Oasis’ What’s The Story Morning Glory (4.6m) in the list of the UK’s biggest selling albums.
