Royal Albert Hall posts record operating income in 2013
The Royal Albert Hall has revealed a record performance in 2013, posting its highest ever operating income of £18.6 million.
That figure is up 10.4% on the previous year and boosted by rising box office receipts and sponsorship income.
In total, 390 events were held in the venue’s main auditorium to record an audience of 1.7 million people (up 7%), with over £1 million provided by donations.
