Revenues at Seatwave rose 50 per cent year-on-year in November, following an Olympics-hit summer for the concert industry.
Overall, concert tickets on sale in the UK fell by almost a tenth in 2012, according to Seatwave via the FT,
Other ticketing websites have also reported similarly strong year-end sales as 2012 draws to a close.
Joe Cohen, chief executive at Seatwave, told the FT that the spike was due to the Olympics creating 'backed-up demand' for live events.
