#Selfie DJ duo sign 'seven figure' publishing and label deal
The Chainsmokers – the DJ duo behind tongue-in-cheek track #Selfie - have signed a publishing deal with Sony/ATV and bagged a record contract with Republic Records.
Billboard sources say the deals are worth over $1m each. Interest in the act piqued when their latest single went viral and broke onto Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart on March 1.
