Senior leadership announced for new music school ELAM

The East London Academy of Music (ELAM) has announced its senior leadership team.

Set to open in September this year, the 16-19 academy will be headed up by principal Charlie Kennard, vice principal and acting director of music Elizabeth Penney and chief executive Andy Weymouth.

ELAM has been developed by a group of figures from the music industry and education sector including Sir Nick Williams, former principal at the BRIT School, Will Kennard of Chase & Status and Geoff Taylor, ...
