Shutterstock launches licensable music library

Stock photo site Shutterstock has launched a licensable music section, offering 60,000 clips.

Shutterstock began in 2003 with just images, but added licensable video clips in 2006. The music section of the site will mirror consumer music discovery with its interface, sorting tracks by genres, mood and tempo, as well as descriptive tags.  

The audio clips come via Shutterstock’s partner, Rumblefish.
