Soundrop shuts down apps, focusing on marketing platform


Soundrop - the social and interactive 'listening room' music service - is closing down its apps as of December 31, with its team instead focusing on marketing platform

Founded in 2011, the service powers group listening rooms on Spotify and Deezer. Last year, it launched as a global web app in beta, allowing users to tap into existing listening rooms based on artists, genres and moods.
