Spotify targets further expansion throughout Asia and the world over next 18 months

Spotify is planning to launch in "a lot" of new markets in the next 12 to 18 months, first focusing on moving further into Asia after arriving in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore last year.

Director of Asia at Spotify Sunita Kaur (pictured) has revealed plans to do more to raise the streaming service's profile in the continent with hardware and media partnerships along with on-ground events.
