Technics launches high-res music download service

Audio brand Technics is launching Technics Tracks, a 24-bit hi-resolution download service.

Available in the UK and Germany from January 2015, the new download store will carry a selection of 24-bit FLAC audio tracks, including tens of thousands in the 192kHz sampling rate. This will be complemented by an extensive collection of 16-bit/44.1kHz, CD quality tracks. 

The company plans to make even more hi-resolution titles available in the coming months. Music purchased on the platform will be stored in a cloud ...
