Popular record label veteran Tony Wadsworth definitely won't be joining Sony Music UK, Music Week has learnt – despite recent online speculation suggesting he could land a top job at the major.
"Tony's got no desire whatsoever to return to a major record company position," said a source close to Wadsworth. "He's been there, done it and bought the T-shirt from the merch stall."
