Ultra Records has filed a lawsuit against YouTube video blogger Michelle Phan for allegedly using some of its artists' unlicensed music.

Phan runs a series of make-up tutorials with music playing in the background including tracks from Ultra's DJ Kaskade amongst others.

Ultra claims to have contacted Phan to inform her of the copyright infringement but the case says she “continues to willfully infringe in blatant disregard of Plaintiff’s rights of ownership.”
