Vivendi employees rally against calls for Universal Music sale

Vivendi employees have voiced support for the company's majority shareholder and chairman, Vincent Bolloré, in opposing calls from one of the firm's investors to sell Universal Music Group and Canal Plus.

P. Schoenfeld Asset Management (PSAM) is said to own 0.8% of the French media group, and has been pressing for Vivendi to consider selling its two remaining businesses in an effort to boost returns to shareholders.
