BMG UK A&R Ian Ramage has hailed the acquisition of Chrissie Hynde’s songwriting catalogue as a “massive” signing for the company.
The global publishing deal covers the Pretenders repertoire, including the No.1 Brass In Pocket, Talk Of The Town and I’ll Stand By You, as well as songs that went on to be covered by Grace Jones, Kylie Minogue and Everything But The Girl.
