Avicii and Charli XCX songwriter Noonie Bao extends Sony/ATV deal

Swedish Grammy-winning songwriter Noonie Bao has extended her worldwide contract with Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

The new deal with writer behind Avicii’s I Could Be The One and Carly Rae Jepsen’s Run Away With Me continues the releationship she began with publisher in 2007.

“It feels more natural and better than ever to extend our collaboration,” said Bao or the deal, while her manager, Jakob Emtestam, added: “It was a no brainer to extend one more time. We’ve achieved some incredible things in the last few years and are more excited than ever about what the future holds together with Sony/ATV.”

Bao regularly collaborates with Charli XCX and has also worked with David Guetta, Katy Perry and Camila Cabello.

“It has been incredible to watch Noonie’s growth as she has matured into one of the most accomplished topliners and lyricists in the world today," explained Guy Moot, Sony/ATV UK's managing director and president, worldwide Creative.
