Blue Raincoat Songs announces trio of new signings

Blue Raincoat Songs (BRS) has bolstered its roster with the signings of three new artists on a global basis.

BRS, the publishing arm of Blue Raincoat Music has welcomed Brooklyn five-piece Bodega, writer, producer, arranger and performer Ben De Vries and former Slow Club singer Self Esteem, aka Rebecca Taylor, to its ranks.

The trio join the likes of Let’s Eat Grandma, The Wandering Hearts, Nerina Pallot and William The Conqueror on the company's books.

Jeremy Lascelles (pictured), CEO of Blue Raincoat Music, said: “All three of these artists – Bodega, Rebecca and Ben – are creating brilliant, thrilling music of very varying styles. Our taste at BRS is pretty eclectic, but individuality and a clear vision of who they are creatively is a pretty common theme amongst all of our signings. We are very excited to welcome all three to the Blue Raincoat family.”

BRS is part of the Blue Raincoat Music Group of Companies, led by Lascelles and Robin Millar, with the backing of Chris Wright and former Virgin Entertainment chairman Robert Devereux.
