Primary Wave Music has sealed an administration and co-publishing deal with DJ White Shadow (real name Paul Blair), the Lady Gaga collaborator behind six songs on the A Star Is Born soundtrack.

Blair is best known as the producer of Lady Gaga’s Grammy-nominated 2011 hit Born This Way, while his catalogue includes various other Gaga hits such as The Edge of Glory, Applause and The Cure. He was part of the production team on 2013’s Artpop album.

He is credited as a co-writer on the following A Star Is Born tracks: Look What I Found, Heal Me, I Don’t Know What Love Is, Is That Alright?, Why Did You Do That? and Hair Body Face.

The Chicago-based Blair has plans to release his own music in early 2019, and has also worked with DNCE, Pitbull and Sia. He was named North American musical director of W Hotels in 2015.
