Warner/Chappell signs George Moore to publishing deal

Classically trained pianist, songwriter and producer George Moore has signed a global deal with Warner/Chappell Music.

Moore, who is best known for his writing on the debut album from Kwabs, co-wrote the debut single from emerging US artist YEBBA and has also had releases with Clean Bandit. He has recently been working on new music with All Saints and Rationale.

“I’m delighted to join Warner/Chappell – there is a real family feel here and I’m excited to start working with Paul and all the team," said Moore. "Chappell is home to some of my favourite songwriters so it’s great to be on the same roster as them.”

Moore has collaborated on five songs with Atlantic Records-signed Kwabs across the soul singer’s EP Pray For Love and his debut album Love & War. They are currently working together on Kwabs’ new record.

Paul Smith, creative director, Warner/Chappell Music UK, added: “George is a real talent. I’m so pleased we’ve been able to partner with him so early on in his career. I’m positive that this is the start of a very successful relationship.”
