Don't miss out: The Music Week Awards entry deadline is three days away

That Final Call moment is almost upon us.

That’s right, there remain a mere three days before the entry deadline for the Music Week Awards 2018.

Entries continue to flow thick and fast from across the biz, so don’t miss your chance to be part of what promises to be the biggest and best incarnation yet of the music industry’s favourite awards show.

All nominations must be made via the official website, musicweekawards.com, by the deadline of midnight on Friday, January 12. The website contains comprehensive details of how to apply, including category criteria.

Bookings are also now open for the show, which takes place on April 26 at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel. The 2017 Music Week Awards was a record-breaking event with an unprecedented number of entries and a sell-out on the night, with more than 1,200 guests in attendance.

Last year, The Strat went to First Access Entertainment founder and CEO Sarah Stennett (above), presented by the Music Week team in recognition of a lifetime of achievement across the industry.

The awards are peer-voted and judged by panels of specialist judges. As ever, labels will be competing in some big categories, including Artist Marketing Campaign, Catalogue Marketing Campaign, Music & Brand Partnership, Sales Team Of The Year, Promotions Team Of the Year, Record Company and Independent Record Company, while independent and major publishers will be up against each other for Publisher Of The Year.

New for this year is the Accountancy Firm Of The Year award, which is open to any firm with clients in the B2B music industry. The Law Firm Of the Year award, introduced 12 months ago, will also return while all the regular awards are back, including the A&R Award, Label/Artist Services Company, Festival Of The Year, Ticketing Company, Live Music Agent, Live Music Promoter, Music Retailer/Streaming Company, Grassroots Venue, Manager Of The Year, Radio Show, Radio Station, Independent Music Retailer and PR Campaign.

Last year’s ceremony saw the cream of the industry gather under one roof, with a special performance from Ray Blk, who went on to be crowned New Artist of 2017 at the Music Week’s Women In Music Awards.
