Music Week Presents: Glitter Wasteland

Switzerland based GLITTER WASTELAND is a creative collective around singer songwriter Siri Jantey whose sound flits between ethereal romantic-sounding synthwave and future-pop. With the help from producers Timo Loosli and Marco Neeser and joined live by Roland Häusler and Siro Müller, Siri Jantey’s vocal powerhouse partnered with an industrial sound to the snare leave no doubt of the bands’ bright future. Their EP 1"is out on 1st July via 61 Seconds Records and we're stoked to premiere it below.

‘EP 1’’s cut "Cold War" as Siri explains translates the battle we face within, the challenges we all face overcoming doubt and understanding our true worth. She continues to explain the meaning behind the band name, “It's about contrasts, antipodes, extremes. Both sides of the same coin called life in all its beautiful and ugly facets. One can't be without the other. The stage, the bright part, and the scene behind the curtain. I like to bring both sides together in my moments of creativity. It also means freedom. Be glamorous if you like, but don't follow the rules of society and fashion if you know deep within that these rules aren't right for you”.
