Robbie Williams and Emeli Sandé perform on X Factor as Four Of Diamonds exit

Emeli Sandé and Robbie Williams performed new songs on The X Factor's week five results show as girl group Four Of Diamonds were voted out after a sing off with Saara Alto.

Mentored by judge Louis Walsh, Four Of Diamonds sung Mariah Carey's When You Believe in a bid to save themselves, but Finnish singer Alto's rendition of Jessie J's Who You Are won the judges over, with Simon Cowell telling her she "killed it".

Also during the show last night (November 6) Emeli Sandé and Robbie Williams gave viewers a taste of two of Q4's most-anticipated albums. Sandé performed Breathing Underwater, while the former Take That singer sang Love My Life. Williams released The Heavy Entertainment show on Friday (November 4) while the Scottish singer releases Long Live The Angels on November 11.

Meanwhile, on BBC 1's Strictly Come Dancing results show, Gary Barlow performed The Girls, from the titular musical he created with Tim Firth, due to open at London's Phoenix Theatre next year.

The X Factor continues next week, when the theme will be disco.
