Leading figures from the world of UK urban music have welcomed the inclusion of grime at this year’s BRITs, with KA & GRM Daily Rated Awards co-founder Koby Hagan declaring that now is “the best time for grime to be recognised”.

Following claims that the BRITs snubbed the genre in 2016, this year’s nominations boast a strong line-up of grime artists, with Skepta, Stormzy and Kano all competing for coveted awards.
