Yes. Yes it is. But while Finn will hog the limelight, Calpurnia are on the rise regardless. Their debut Scout EP came out to delirious reception and its biggest track, City Boy, has more than three million Spotify plays.
WHAT DO THEY SOUND LIKE?
Twin Peaks man Cadien Lake James co-produced the EP, and influences include Mac DeMarco and Pup. So, scruffy guitars and big choruses.
WHAT’S NEXT?
Calpurnia are yet to hit these shores, but expect that to change very soon.
