WHO: Serine Karthage is a 23-year-old rapper, singer and producer.

WHERE: Karthage was born to Tunisian parents (her name pays homage to their home city of Carthage) and grew up in and around North London.

Karthage has been making music for a little while, but Ruler is her fullest statement yet, and is her first release since signing to RCA imprint Since ’93, run by Glyn Aikins and Ricki Bleau.
WHAT’S NEXT?
There’s an EP coming in 2019 but, for now, Ruler is all you’re getting. Fortunately, it comes with a grainy video that offers a peek into Karthage’s city life. With a lyrical nod to the Grammys, it’s full of self-belief.
