Major label execs have opened up about the challenges in maintaining streaming growth, global prospects for UK stars and why the term ‘catalogue’ may be outdated.

Domestic acts Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran were in first and second place on the year-end albums and singles charts. According to the Official Charts Company, Columbia-signed Styles had the biggest album (Harry’s House – 460,432 sales) and single (As It Was – 1,573,672) of the year in the UK.
