When Dolly Alderton’s novel Everything I Know About Love was published in 2018, it was hailed as a generation-defining story about the messiness of navigating the world in your twenties. This year, it has been made into a BBC series, which has had viewers fondly remembering the nights out and bad dates of their younger years.
