The new song, entitled December Song (I Dreamed Of Christmas), is written by the singer with long-time friend David Austin.

It will be available to download via www.georgemichael.com and other online music outlets on Christmas day, fulfilling a promise made by Michael on stage at London's Earls Court earlier this year.

This will be the first festive song from the singer since Wham!'s classic Last Christmas.
