Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt has asked Ofcom to assess whether the sections in the Act that deal with website blocking are actually workable.
Hunt said he wanted to ensure that businesses have the right tools to protect themselves from online copyright infringement. He also said he has "no problem" with the principle of blocking access to websites used exclusively for facilitating illegal downloading of content.
