While several tracks from Chinese Democracy have leaked online, Geffen, the band's label, has not officially issued an album of new recordings by Guns N Roses since covers collection The Spaghetti Incident in 1993.
That hiatus is reportedly set to end in September, when Rock Band 2 is released for the Xbox 360 including Guns N Roses' Shackler's Revenge.
Recent years have seen bands increasingly keen to licence their music to computer games, as the sector booms.
