Tinie goes platinum in US
Wednesday, May 18th 2011 at 6:25PMThat single went platinum last night according to EMI, after selling more than 1m copies. It is currently at 15 in the US charts.
EMI said that Tinie has gathered considerable momentum in the US: MTV picked him to play their MTV Garage at the South by South West festival; Rolling Stone featured him in its "Hot List" and there are TV appearances lined up on shows including Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O'Brien and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
