Official Charts Analysis: Elbow album sells 46k to hit No.1

Both acts scored career high positions, debuting and peaking at number two with their only previous studio album of the 2010s but their converging release dates meant that only Elbow or Paloma Faith could secure their first number one this week. And the winners are...Elbow, whose sixth studio album, The Take Off And Landing Of Everything sold 46,211 copies last week to take the prize.
