Zara Larsson partners with H&M for debut fashion collection

Swedish star Zara Larsson has partnered with high street retailer H&M to launch her debut fashion collection.

Her new ‘capsule collection’ will be available globally in selected stores as well as online from May 18. Among the pieces included in the collection are an oversized hoodie and t-shirt dress, both emblazoned with hot pink graphics and ‘strong feminist messages, balanced by more body-con shorts and tops’.

“I am really excited to finally share my collection with H&M,” said Larsson. “I have had so much fun working with them to design pieces and create a campaign that reflects my personality. I can't wait to see how girls everywhere wear the pieces to add to their own personal style.”

Larsson played a key role in the design process, ‘having a say in everything from the prints and colours to cut and fit’.

“Zara is such an inspiration to fashion and music lovers all around the world. Her energy is so positive and sincere, which together with her was easy to translate into the designs,” says Pernilla Wohlfahrt, head of design and creative director at H&M.

“We also looked a lot at what Zara wears on and off the stage, making sure to incorporate her show-meets-street style.”
